Why did nobody tell me that Supernatural is so awesome?!

Last Sunday I managed to hurt my back and for the most part all I could do was lay in bed or lay on the couch this entire week.  Normally I'm not a tv watching person but on a whim (and since I was a prisoner of the couch anyways) I rented the first episodes of season 4 just to see what it was like.  Five day's later I've have blown through the entire season  and I've decided that I'm gonna be just like Bobby when I grow up because he is just that awesome.  So awesome that I'm tempted to find a Bobby icon.  Between him and Jensen Ackles' voice  and the great acting they made hours of laying around unable to do anything just a little more bearable. So, I'm at work (not working, just getting my release to come back), trying to find as many stories as I can before I have to head back home where I have no internet and no new episodes to watch.

( She sat on the bed, heels kicking the sides. She looked like an average teenager, blond hair shoulder length, blue eyes so similar to her siblings, a color that caught people's attention every time. Her fingers brushed the wooden objects littering the bedspread absentmindedly as she watched her brother pace back and forth, his fingers intertwined in the chain hanging around his neck. )

It's a good day. A very, very good day. A great day. One of my RL problems is taken care of, I got my restraining order. This is probably the first time in weeks that I'll be able to go to sleep with out worrying and the mental "what if he...what if he...what if he" hamster wheel should be quiet tonight.

Also amazing how fast the judge will shut you down when you say "I take issue with some of the thing you said..." to the Judge!  I guess he never watched Judge Judy.  Still giggling at random moments at how monumentally stupid he was and how just because he has a set of balls means that the judge should listen to him alone and threatening to 'destroy me' isn't exactly how it sounds.

Huge weight off my shoulders.

I completely blame rheanna  the evil temptress.  I had promised my self that I would no longer try to write fics in fandoms that I am currently reading in.  I have this little problem where I stop reading that fandom while I write.  Well, she just started the Cliche Bingo challenge at LJ and I am powerless to resist.  I guess if anyone notices that I've stopped reading fics, just slap me over the head.

This story was just found at sgastoryfinders at LJ and it is just such a cool story I had to share. 

Five Pieces of Atlantis that Jim Treasures is by cassiejames over on LJ.  Its a crossover between Star Trek and Stargate Atlantis, told from Bones POV about Kirk and his pieces of Atlantis and conversely his ancestor, John Sheppard.  I loved this story to pieces.

My mother and I went plant shopping today, her buying lots of flowers and me finding herbs and veggies for my little backyard garden.  While we were looking at hanging baskets to get for my grandma I found this beautiful vine-like flowering one called a Bouganvilla Vine, remember that name.

Well, I had just grabbed the planter when I accidentally brushed my hand against one of the trailing vines an it attacked.  When my mom and I were innocently admiring the bright pink flowers trailing down the vine we failed to notice the inch long thornes!  I ended up yelping outloud (didn't swear outloud luckily, been trying to break that bad habit).  To add injury to insult the stupid thing managed to draw blood.

I've managed to gouge my palms and had to go beg for a band-aid from the owner of the greenhouse.  From hence forth all plants will not be judged by their color or beauty or type but by how utterly EVIL they are... That stupid thing fricken hurt!

I had a kinda crappy, stressful day until I was bouncing around YouTube and found this:

A new month and a new Vid.

This one was inspired by an icon I saw somewhere (but can't remember where and I wish I knew who made it) about John Sheppard, Harry Potter, and their similar tastes in clothing.  Then a couple weeks ago this song started to play on my mp3 player and everything just fell together.  So here it is and I ask you:

There are days like today when my mom wonders how she created a 'geek-nerd-dork' trifecta of children (I'm the geek by the way).  I gave in and made a music video for SGA and finally posted it for the current Kawoosh Movie Trailer Challange.  It's based on the 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' movie trailer.  I bounced around a while to find it and immediately thought of the boys.  If for some reason this strikes your fancy you can download it at:
